A large percentage of students entering University of Phoenix have earned
credits from other educational institutions. The need to work extensively with
these institutions to articulate and transfer program credits is essential in
servicing the needs and degree completion goals of students.
As of 2004, the articulation office of University of Phoenix has completed
more than 450 formal alliance agreements with two-year institutions to
successfully provide a seamless transition from an associate degree to a
baccalaureate degree. The University is working with another 500 institutions
toward completion of additional alliance agreements.
Our
Transfer Guides, which are updated annually, clearly outline what the
student needs to complete in order to earn a degree in the most efficient way
possible at University of Phoenix. The guides clearly map the general and
elective credits that transfer and fulfill University of Phoenix program
requirements.
